Two weeks is the real number
First week I wasn't sure. Second week it clicked. Six weeks now and dinner ends where dinner ends. Give it the full two weeks before you call it.
The 2:30 wall stopped showing up
I'd eat lunch and be fighting my eyelids by half two, every day. Two weeks in I'd worked straight through to four without thinking about food once.
You want to taste it
First dose I winced. Gone in under a minute. That's how you know there's something in the bottle.
Bitter like my grandmother's bottles
No glycerine, and you can tell the second it hits your tongue. Week one I grocery shopped hungry and came home without sweets. Only realized in the parking lot what hadn't happened.
He asked if I was mad at him
We've split a bowl of ice cream after dinner for 20 years. Three weeks in, he's eating it alone. The ice cream just doesn't cross my mind anymore. One star off, the dropper is fiddly with wet hands.
The quiet came first
For years food took up half my head: planning it, promising about it, bracing for nine o'clock. I didn't realize how loud it was until the planning just stopped.
You can taste it doing its job
Capsules, gummies, teas. I almost scrolled past this too. No capsule ever made my mouth pay attention. Week two, the pretzel bag was still clipped shut from the week before.
Couldn't finish my normal plate
Three weeks in. Sunday I served my usual portion and couldn't finish it, which has never once happened to me. Not eating between meals and honestly not even thinking about it.
Made a face the whole first week
Fair warning, this is properly bitter. But dinner stopped spilling into the night, and my belly is finally headed the right direction. Now I almost look forward to the taste.
The 3 o'clock sugar hunt is quieter
It used to run my whole afternoon. Those cravings have subsided. Not gone completely, but they've definitely lost their grip. My afternoons don't fall apart anymore.
Give it the full two weeks
First week I wasn't sure. Second week it clicked. Six weeks now and dinner ends where dinner ends. Don't judge it on day two.
My substitute drawer is retired
The 85% chocolate, the frozen grapes, the sugar-free everything. They managed the craving. They never ended it. Now there's nothing to manage.
Sat down on the sofa with nothing in my hands
Never decided to stop bringing snacks. Just noticed one night I'd sat down empty-handed, which used to be unthinkable. Four weeks in.
Food noise is the right phrase
That constant low-level thinking about the next thing. I didn't have a word for it. It's quieter now, and the saffron part makes sense to me. My bad days don't end at the pantry.
Two generations, same result
Bought it for myself, mentioned it to my mum, now she orders her own. She's on bottle three. Says the evening picking has stopped.
None of the others touched the actual pull
The powders, the capsules, the vinegar, keeping nothing sweet in the house. Tried all of it. This one works at the meal, not after it. That's the difference.
Bought it to prove my sister wrong
She'd been on it since spring and wouldn't stop. Bought a bottle expecting nothing. Six weeks in and I'm the one telling people. Still annoyed about it.
You notice it when you run out
Nothing dramatic. Just fewer nights where the craving wins. I ran out once and the 9PM pull was back within days. Won't let that happen again.
Someone actually picked up
Question about my order, real person in 20 minutes. Not a bot. Never had that from a supplement company. Product's solid too.
Set it and forgot it
Subscription was the right call. It lives on the kitchen table, I take it, it shows up. Haven't thought about reordering once.
Ordered twice before writing this
Bought it, didn't review. Reordered, didn't review. On bottle three, so I figured I owed them. Consistent every single time.
